Mesothelioma as Defined

Have you heard this term Mesothelioma? I have learned that it is an asbestos-caused cancer of the membranes that surround many of the body’s vital organs. This membrane, known as mesothelium, secretes a lubricating fluid that provides easy movement of the organs within the body. When the mesothelium becomes cancerous, it is called mesothelioma.

I was so saddened when I hear the news that my uncle died in this kind of cancer- he was working in a company wherein he was exposed too much asbestos. He was diagnosed to have this rare form of cancer that develops from the protective lining that covers many of his body’s internal organs, the mesothelium.

Shocking News

I was so saddened when I saw a common friend that I haven’t seen for a long time that he was totally change as in physically. I was so shock of his quick weight loss that I immediately asked my friend about his situation. Oh my! I can’t believe it that he has a colon cancer stage 3. At first, I thought he was on a diet but he was not. Thanks God that he is doing well as of this time. I just hope and pray God will grant him another year of his life and can enjoy it to the fullest!

Sad News

Just this afternoon, my mom told me that the husband of my Aunt was admitted in the hospital because of a serious illness. Although the bacteria has just spread out affecting his organs but still he is quite okay with God’s healing power.

News like these is not a pleasant to one’s ear especially your loved-ones is suffering from it. Still thankful and that my uncle is not suffering from malignant Mesothelioma or any other cancer types of diseases. Well, everything happens for a reason!

Life Threatening Disease

According to studies, the rate of cancer patients are still increasing. Just like this afternoon, my officemate told me that our boss was being referred by her physician to visit an oncologist for the reason that she always experience a blood in her urine. As I look for the causes of her illness on the net, I found out that it was known as hematuria which is also one sign of having a bladder or kidney cancer.

Oh my! So sad to hear that many people suffer from this kind of life threatening diseases especially the most common to women the cervical cancer and to some who are expose to asbestos  called mesothelioma.Well, this is just a warning to all of us to really take care of our health.
