both of us don’t have Exes…

My parents…whaaa…but i know how to cook!

Mommy Rubz, I know this is a long and overdue tag. Anyway, better late than never! Thanks much for this cuz!
Why should the wedding ring be worn on the fourth finger? There is a beautiful and convincing explanation given by the Chinese…..
* Thumb represents your Parents.
* Second (Index) finger represents your Siblings.
* Middle finger represents yourself.
* Fourth (Ring) finger represents your Life Partner. & the . . .
* Last (Little) finger represents your children
Firstly, open your palms (face to face), bend the middle fingers and hold them together – back to back.
Secondly, open and hold the remaining three fingers and the thumb – tip to tip. (As shown in the figure below):
Now, try to separate your thumbs (representing the parents)…, they will open, because your parents are not destined to live with you lifelong, and have to leave you sooner or later. Please join your thumbs as before and separate your Index fingers (representing siblings)…., they will also open, because your brothers and sisters will have their own families and will have to lead their own separate lives.
Now join the Index fingers and separate your Little fingers (representing your children)…., they will open too, because the children also will get married and settle down on their own some day.
Finally, join your Little fingers, and try to separate your Ring fingers (representing your spouse). You will be surprised to see that you just CANNOT….. because Husband & Wife have to remain together all their lives – through thick and thin!! Please try this out and pass…………. ISN’T THIS A LOVELY THEORY?

No CommentsGot this prayer brigade from Melody last december 2008. Now I have the time to post it. Thanksfor tagging me.
Father God, our country needs restoration and we know that this should start from within. Lord, we ask for the revival of our country. And as we pray for this, we lift up to You the upcoming 2010 Presidential Election. May You guide all of us to choose the right leader that seeks Your name above all. A leader with a heart that longs after You. We also pray for the candidates to set aside their own selfish desires. That they may only think of the welfare of our country. Lord, we know nothing is impossible with You.
I, Phebie support the cause of the Blog Prayer Brigade for the election of the Future President of the Republic of the Philippines and I do solemnly promise to recite the prayer, which I wrote, in my own convenient time and regularly as possible until the 2010 Presidential Election commences. Let it be written, let it be done.

Here are the rules:

Gotcha… What a coincidence! The 6th folder is named as Holidays and the 6th picture is my ‘lil daughter who just woke up. This was recently taken last December 26, 2008 as we had our Holiday pool picnic for an over night stay in a certain resort in Misamis Occidental. My cousin took this picture early morning while I was still snoring in sleep. LOL!
