What is Futon?

To be honest, I just learned that Futon is the expression Americans use to refer to the traditional Japanese bedding system. Japanese use the word shikibuton, meaning mattress.It serves as furniture during the day and can convert to a sleeping space at night. It also take the form of a bed, couch, or chair, which provides a comfortable and sturdy space for sitting or sleeping.

Thanks for the net for this info, now I know that this is what I needed for my daughter’s new bedroom. Good thing that I found a site wherein I can look for my daughter’s favorite futon cover. Hope they can ship it for free all the way here so that I can order a two or three sets for this.

A week ago, we went to see our relatives and was invited for a lunch at their house. I knew that they are one of the elites in their own place- they own different kinds of business and etc. To my surprise, as I was able to meet them in person for the first time, I was in totally awe as I entered their house made of glass tile plus kinda’ shocked when I saw their garage full of different vehicles. They have at least 15 different models of cars from 4×4 to luxury car. Wow! Amazing.

I can say that they are truly blessed by God because they do help and share the less fortunate and they doesn’t want people may know about their status in life- they are humble enough. Indeed they are a secret millionaire!

Yesterday while I was at the salon to have my hair fixed, what I did was just read and read some magazines to kill the time. I had my hair re-bonded last night and that it took me four to five hours in the salon. While I was reading a certain magazine, my attention was caught in a certain outdoor furniture owned by a Filipina actress- the Megastar. I really liked it because of it’s uniqueness and that if I had enough money then I will plan to have something like that but with a cheaper price in our new home.

I guess I’m not the only one who is so excited for our next project which is the construction of our own house but hubby as well. As early as now, I asked my architect friend to design us and make a plan of a simple house good for my small and cute family. Maybe I can design a bit the interior of the house to save more. Of course I wanted my toilet to be nice among the rest that is why I’m starting to look for an American Standard toilets that would best fit according to my taste. hahahaha

But if God allow us to have much blessings then I would love to hire an interior designer in order to have a much better output.

Home Office

Being an office worker mom during daytime and a part-time blogger at night time is a very tough job. One needs to devote much time on the chosen field. Now, that I am so busy with my other career at home, I was thinking of putting a home office for my self. I think it would be so great so that I can work on freely without being disturbed at my workplace. Sounds great but still I need to buy home office furniture the soonest if finances would allow me to do so. I hope.

I have noticed that the fluorescent lamp in our table was there for almost a month I guess if I’m not mistaken. Just tonight after washing up from bathroom, I saw it again in the table. I immediately asked my hubby when he will be going to change our lighting fixture in our bedroom. I sarcastically told him that if it’s going to be broken into pieces that’s the time he will change it. He answered me hurriedly with his “NOW” answer. Whaaaa….or else I might demand for a new Pendant Crsytal Lighting like this…

As always, we’ve been praying to God that we will be able to have our house whom we can call it our own. I am so excited to design our own house and be able to purchase furniture and fixtures that I like. God- willing we will be able to have it early of next year since hubby is preparing all the papers as of now.

As part of the preparations, I’d been looking for a unique doors like of Ft Myers custom doors like the picture on the right. I am sure that my house would look so great on this. Whew can’t wait for next year to come.
