Fight Cancer!
According to the statistics, many people died due to cancer. Cancer is of many types- from head to toe. It is so sad to know that even the young ones have this kind of diseases. Aside from it is a hereditary disease, lifestyle also can be of great cause for this.
Speaking of cancer, I just found another type of cancer which is Mesothelioma. It is an asbestos-caused cancer of the membranes that surround many of the body’s vital organs. Oh my! I guess, we really have to live a healthy lifestyle to fight cancer!
9 Guidelines in Choosing the Right Hospital
For this past few weeks, my aunt’s father-in-law was confined in a hospital that I guess it is not right for him. Maybe because they don’t have enough money to pay or whatever reason they might have, they must also consider these things below:
1. QUALITY DOCTORS
Experienced doctors offering honest and professional advice.
2. QUALITY NURSES
Good nurses who cares and who smile.
3. CLEAN
Surgical hospitals do not admit patients with chronic infections, concentrating instead on clean surgeries.
4. EQUIPMENT
Hospital should naturally be equipped with the latest equipment for keyhole surgery.
5. FRIENDLY
Let us face it, hospitals can be scary. Some are warm and friendly.
6. REASONABLE COST
Designed for day surgery cases with the flexibility of having in-patient stay for one to five days. Staying with us is not cheap, but very reasonable.
7. PRIVATE
Hospitals must be sworn to privacy and confidentiality.
8. FAST IN- FAST OUT
Modern hospitals are geared to providing fast, friendly and quality service
9. LOCATION
It should be accessible and has enough parking space.
Summer Days

Summer days are here and we can now feel the heat of the sun. Since our family is planning for an outing, we are looking for a great value over a longer stay and it would be best if we can go in a suburban extended stay hotels that will make us feel right at home. Whew! We are all so excited to go out and have some fun!
Money Management 101
We have been taught that money is a good servant, but a very bad master. I will be sharing this subject code MM 101 to all moms and future moms out there on how do we manage money so that it will work for us and at the same time a good servant to us.
We should practice this 3 RPs…
Right Perspective
In order to manage our money well, we need to have the right, biblical, view of money.
James 1:15 says that “Every good and perfect gift comes from God- which means money is included.
Moses in the book of Deuteronomy says that “He that gives you power to get wealth”.
The formula is: Hard Work + God’s strength = money for me and for my family!
Right Priority
This is the very first thing that I would do upon receiving my 15th and 30th salary. I should pay God first through my tithes- RWe have to demonstrate our faith by paying God His due in order to claim God’s promised help and strength.
Right Procedures
How to properly spend our money? We need to stick to the following procedures:
1. Pay ourselves in the form of savings. Start with a small amount, say 5% of our income and put it in an account. In my case, we have to set aside for our piggy bank and our little savings in our cooperatives. This is our future security or capital.
2. Pay our debts. If we can’t pay them all, we should pay part. Our main goal here is to reduce the amount until we owe nothing.
3. Pay our bills on time. We should not try to incur interest.
4. Plan our expenses so that we can live within our means.
God’s plan is always to bless us in every aspect of our lives especially through our finances. Hope you can get something out from this post.
How to Raise Positive Kids in a Negative World?

Principles for Positive Parenting
1. Positive parenting begins with POSITIVE clear cut OBJECTIVES
Ephesians 6:4
· The principle of FOCUS- proactive parenting prevents reactive, fearful methods.
We parents must be able to determine what we need to aim for our children. Always remember that God’s dream for His children is holiness which produces joy (eternal) while the world’s dream for our children is to have happiness in every way (temporary).
2. Positive parenting demands we PRACTICE what we PREACH
1 Corinthians 4:14-16
· The principle of MODELING- it is more caught than taught!
We parents must produce not what we teach but we must produce what we act. Then we must be what we want them to become.
